No fewer than 9 members of the Kwande Traditional Council died in 2010. According to a source from the council, who spoke to KSN recently but does not want his name disclosed, apart HRH James Adzape who died towards the end of the year, the council had early lost the Tyoor of Usar, Joseph Wayo Ubwa and a chieftaincy holder, Chief Marquis Hemba, Atakpa U Kwande.
The council also lost six Kindred Heads; these were Peter Kartyo, Bunde
Dzurgba, Kaduna Mazan, Tyokever Yoo, Iorhuna Nyior and Manor Shima.
